We are excited to invite you to the first of four installations made specifically for our program during the opening days of the Graphic Design Biennial in Brno 2016. As always when we move fanfare into new surroundings, we introduce the whole shebang with a Grand Opening – a fanfare you might say... This gives us an opening to explore how new settings work when they come alive and when people are introduced. On that note tonight we happily dedicate our entire space to the playful language of live moving visuals. Since its beginning fanfare has encountered and appreciated the increasing amount of designers applying their individual visual skills to live environment settings. With this experience in mind, we have come across coded, digital and analog build-ups and have seen installation environments and found footage being transformed into new images by their masters. In common for the different approaches is the live element, which allows the visuals to go along with beats and with the people present in the space. The curiosity which we find echoed within the playfulness of live visuals is a fresh take on exploring design, which we find relevant for works and thoughts flowing through the sphere of fanfare.
It is therefore with pure pleasure that we have tonight invited our friends and multi-talented graphic designers Lou Buche and Kévin Bray to take over and shine up the fanfare structure.
